Trainees
Our approach to training contracts is to give the trainee valuable, real experience of working as a fee earner who can be responsible for their own case load. We currently have three trainees working for us across our offices and generally recruit trainees every two years on a rolling program.
Trainee Application
If you are interested in becoming a trainee at this firm please apply with a CV and a covering letter to the Head Office in Bath. The contact details are available in the Contact Us section of the website, or to the right.
Trainee Testimonials
Due to qualify in August 2010
“I began my training contract at LHP Law in October 2008 after completing the Legal Practice Course at UWE in 2008. Prior to that I obtained a Law degree from the University of Reading in 2007.
My first seat was in the Family Department. I have dealt with all aspects of family law including divorce, financial matters, children and injunctions. I have been given the opportunity to meet new clients, attend court hearings and conferences and work on an independent level with assistance and supervision when required.
I have also had some dealings with the Wills and Probate Department where I have had the opportunity to deal with Lasting Powers of Attorney and other applications to the Court of Protection.
I am hoping to further my experience by completing a seat in the litigation department and perhaps in one other area before qualifying in August 2010. I am very much enjoying my training at LHP Law and feel that it is providing me with an excellent start to my career as a qualified solicitor.”
